Using the AdWords Callout Extension

Back in 2014 Google came out with a brand new type of ad extension to help make your ads stand out while next to your competitors ads. This new extension is much different than the current Location, Call, Review and other extensions that were already available in your account.  The new ad extension is called a ‘Callout Extension’ which are small lines of text located under your normal text ad description.

Below is an example of the new extension as it would be seen live in Adwords.

These ‘Callout Extensions’ should be a bit different than your normal text ad description and different than your Sitelinks. A good method to use for these extensions is to put sales oriented excerpts that would try to catch the surfers attention to the ad and hopefully lead to them clicking on it.

Always be sure to put relevance first when using any part of Google Adwords, especially these new ‘Callout Extensions’. Never try to put any false advertising her or lucrative sayings as these all go through an approval process first.
